This represents a rare opportunity with an incredible residential construction company headquartered in the inner southern suburbs of Brisbane. This company has an excellent reputation in the industry. They specialize in delivering high quality residential projects.

POSITION

Due to incredible growth the position of Graduate Accountant has been created.

This role will involve and not be limited to:

• Work under a highly experienced CFO and a small finance team
• Assist with monthly financial and management reporting
• Assist with statutory reporting
• Data entry
• Assist with AP and AR

This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long term career in the commercial space.

CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Degree Qualified or close to being degree qualified
• 6 months+ accounting or bookkeeping experience (exposure to the construction industry is desirable but not necessary)
• Public Practice experience highly desirable (business services or bookkeeping)
• Experience with Xero
• Very stable employment history (non negotiable)
• Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Energetic and motivated personality with great multi-tasking
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills (non negotiable)
• A self starter who is able to take direction from managers
