Geology Assistant
- Provide quality geology technical support for safe and efficient mining activities.
- Assist with drilling programs, sampling, and geological data collection.
- Support field-based exploration activities and maintain QAQC standards.
- FIFO or residential from Perth | Day shift only, 8/6 roster at Agnew
- Develop practical, hands-on exploration geology experience across drilling programs
The Opportunity:
In this role, you will provide quality geology technical support to assist with safe and efficient activities as part of our Mine Geology team at our Agnew Gold Mine.

About the Role
- Assist with AC/RC drilling programs including sampling and rock chip collection
- Support diamond drill core processing, cutting and sampling activities
- Maintain QAQC standards for sample handling and geological data collection
- Coordinate sample preparation and dispatch to assay laboratories
- Assist geologists with field-based exploration activities and data recording
Skills & Qualifications
- Current manual driver’s licence and forklift licence
- Experience in a similar role within the mining/resources environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
