Hays has partnered with a leading high-rise residential builder renowned for delivering landmark luxury apartment developments across Australia's east coast. With a proven track record constructing some of the country's most recognisable residential towers, this builder continues to secure major projects and is seeking an experienced General Foreman to play a key role on a prestigious 60+ storey development.
Your new role
As General Foreman, you will support the Site Manager in the day-to-day delivery of a large-scale luxury residential tower, coordinating trades, driving programme outcomes and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained throughout construction.Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and coordinating multiple subcontractor trades on site.
- Driving construction programmes and daily site activities
- Monitoring productivity and maintaining project milestones
- Ensuring WHS compliance across all work fronts
- Overseeing quality control and workmanship standards
- Managing site logistics and trade sequencing
- Supporting the Site Manager in delivering project objectives
- Leading, mentoring and motivating site teams
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as a General Foreman on large commercial or residential projects
- High-rise construction experience, ideally on towers exceeding 20 storeys
- Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
- Excellent understanding of construction sequencing and methodology
- Proven ability to manage site productivity and programme requirements
- Strong commitment to safety and quality outcomes
- QBCC Site Supervisor Licence preferred
- Current White Card
