A growing landscaping and maintenance contractor is seeking an experienced Garden Maintenance Team Leader to join their team. This is a hands-on leadership role offering a mix of team supervision and practical garden maintenance work across a variety of sites.
Your new role
Leading a small crew, you will be responsible for coordinating daily maintenance activities while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You'll provide guidance to team members, maintain quality outcomes and assist with a range of horticultural and grounds maintenance tasks.Key duties include:

• Leading and supporting garden maintenance crews
• Mowing, hedging, pruning, weeding and mulching
• Monitoring plant health and site presentation
• Conducting safety checks and hazard identification
• Mentoring and training team members
• Communicating with clients and site stakeholders
• Ensuring work is completed to required standards

What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrated experience in garden or grounds maintenancePrevious leadership or supervisory experienceCurrent driver's licence, White card, Asbestos, Silica requiredStrong communication and team leadership skillsAbility to work independently and manage daily prioritiesCertificate III in Horticulture or similar qualification (desirable)What you'll get in return
