With a dynamic and supportive unit manager, we now seek a like-minded Registered Nurse to support and work with the Cath Lab team on a full-time basis.

To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced cardiac catheterisation nurse with previous experience across all areas of Cath Lab. You will bring a strong clinical skillset from an acute hospital setting and have an interest in mentoring staff.

About the Company
The hospital is located in the multicultural Western Sydney City of Penrith. It is a modern 109 bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community since 2000 including: orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology and general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography and obstetrics. The hospital has eight operating Theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheterisation theatre and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit which includes intensive care.

About You

• Current AHPRA registration
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work well independently and within a team
• High level organisational skills to meet time constraints
• 12 months plus experience in a cardiac catheterisation lab
• Strong clinical skillset
• Demonstrate the ability to show initiative Excellent communication skills
