An exciting opportunity has opened for a Financial Planning Analyst to join the Finance team, reporting to a FP&A Manager. This is a great next step for a commercially minded analyst who wants broad FP&A exposure within an organisation that has real, tangible impact.
About the Role:
Reporting into the FP&A Manager, the key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to track budgets, KPIs and milestones, and distilling feedback into clear management commentary
- Preparing management reporting, presentations and analysis to support senior team members and leadership in monthly and quarterly meetings
- Delivering timely, accurate reporting and dashboards, and contributing to annual reporting processes
- Supporting rolling forecasts, budgets and strategic plans
- Monitoring an investment/project pipeline and building ad hoc financial and forecast models
- Assisting with month-end journals, reconciliations and related financial reporting
- Providing decision support and ad hoc analysis as required
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- 2+ years' experience in a commercial/business analyst role
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance/Accounting, Economics or a related discipline
- CA/CPA qualified or part-qualified
- Excellent attention to detail and an inquisitive, analytical mindset
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
