About the role:

Our team is growing, and we are currently seeking Food Service Assistants at Repat Hospital (Daw Park) on a Casual or Part Time basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and presentation of patient meals such as salads, sandwiches and drinks
  • Cleaning and sanitizing of patient meal trays, cutlery, crockery and trolleys
  • Preparation of workstations including assembly of items and stocking of consumables
  • Maintain a high standard of food services in accordance with Food Safety Legislation and Food Services Procedures

About you:

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
  • Experience in an aged care or hospital environment desired
  • Current Food Safety Certificate required
  • Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
  • Police Clearance, or ability to obtain, is essential
  • DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC), or ability to obtain, is essential
  • Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diphtheria, Hep B, Polio or willingness to obtain, as per SA Health Worker policy is essential
