Your new role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Fleet Planning Officer to join a busy Fleet Solutions team based in Wacol. Acting as the first point of contact for internal fleet customers, you will be responsible for coordinating fleet maintenance activities, managing work orders, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring the efficient delivery of operational support services. This is a fast-paced role suited to a highly organised professional who enjoys providing exceptional customer service and working closely with a range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

  • Create, monitor and proactively manage work orders through to completion.
  • Provide customers with updates on work progress and service delivery.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and schedulers to ensure timely delivery of parts and services.
  • Assist in minimising vehicle and equipment downtime across the fleet.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, spreadsheets and correspondence.
  • Support operational processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Build positive relationships with internal customers, suppliers and stakeholders.

    What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience managing work orders through to completion within a maintenance, fleet, operations or service environment.
  • Previous experience using SAP or a similar enterprise resource planning system.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong administrative and reporting capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance processes or related services will be highly regarded.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
