We are a long established, ever-expanding, multi trade, building maintenance company that services the South-East Queensland region.

About the role

We are seeking a fulltime Financial Administrator

The (Fast Forward Construction Pty Ltd) AMS Financial Administrator role is responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, and budgeting, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies working closely alongside the Executive Accounts Manager, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

This role plays a key part in strategic decision-making and improving financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer necessary accounts procedures in accordance with company requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Analyse company financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement, as well as risks to be addressed.
  • Manage cash flow, and capital requirements.
  • Ensure financial compliance with external stakeholders including ATO, QBCC, QLeave,
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
  • Monitor internal controls and implement improvements to safeguard assets.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Director and Shareholders

Requirements for the role

  • Relevant Bachelor Degree such as Business Administration, Finance or Accounting and at least 12 months full time work experience in a relevant role
  • SimPRO software experience is highly desirable but not mandatory as training will be provided.
  • Pleasant and patient phone manner.
  • Reliable and team oriented.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
