Financial Accounting Manager

Lead financial reporting, compliance and balance sheet control for a complex, multi-entity business

We are partnering with a large, well-established organisation to appoint a technically strong Financial Accounting Manager to support a busy reporting and compliance function.This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys owning the numbers, improving controls and working across a complex, multi-entity environment.
Your new role

• Lead month-end reporting including group consolidation and variance analysis
• Maintain strong balance sheet control, including review and approval of reconciliations
• Oversee statutory reporting and tax compliance (FBT, income tax, and regulatory returns)
• Manage and develop a small finance team
• Act as key contact for external auditors and tax advisors
• Drive process improvements across reporting, controls and governance

What you'll need to succeed

• CA/CPA qualified with strong financial accounting foundations
• Proven experience in a corporate or multi-entity environment
• Strong technical reporting, compliance and reconciliation expertise
• Confident stakeholder engagement skills
• Prior team leadership or supervisory experience preferred
