Job Description

Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll play a key role within a high-performing finance team, taking ownership of core financial accounting activities while partnering closely with stakeholders across the business. This is an ongoing contract position with the opportunity to establish yourself within a stable and supportive organisation.

• Ownership of month-end close processes
• Preparation of journals and accruals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Financial reporting and analysis
• Fixed asset accounting
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assisting with audit and compliance requirements
• Investigating variances and providing commentary
• Process improvement and finance projects
• Business partnering with operational stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Financial Accountant, Senior Accountant or equivalent
• Strong financial accounting and month-end experience
• Experience preparing journals, accruals and reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong Excel capabilities
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• CA/CPA qualification (or working towards completion)
