Working approximately 25 hours per week, this casual part-time role offers plenty of variety across finance, administration and day-to-day operations. With an immediate start available, you’ll also have the benefit of working alongside the current team member for a thorough handover.
Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll support the smooth running of a busy community facility, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, customers and venue users. The position combines core finance duties such as Accounts Receivable, payroll, reconciliations and Xero administration with broader operational support and venue coordination.

- Managing Accounts Receivable, invoicing and debtor follow-up
- Supporting payroll preparation and administration
- Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate records in Xero
- Assisting with month-end processing and financial reporting
- Responding to supplier, customer and employee account queries
- Coordinating venue bookings and operational schedules
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure upcoming bookings are appropriately prepared
- Supporting operational reporting, administration and process improvements
You
- 2+ years’ experience in financial administration
- Strong proficiency in Xero
- Experience working in a busy operational or customer-facing environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence managing competing priorities and working with a range of stakeholders
- Working with Children Check
This would suit someone who enjoys a role with variety, autonomy and community connection, where you can use your finance experience while also being involved in the broader operation of a busy sporting and community venue.
With part-time hours, an immediate opportunity to commence, and the benefit of a structured handover, this is a great opportunity to step into the role with strong support from the outset.
