Supporting Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Osborne Park Health Care Group, this role sits within the Finance and Business Partnering team and plays a key part in providing financial and business support to research activities across the organisation. - Provide high-level corporate, business and financial management support to research functions.
- Deliver business partnering services and strategic financial advice to key stakeholders.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Prepare management reports, financial reports and revenue reporting.
- Assist with statutory reporting requirements and financial governance processes.
- Monitor research-related financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of financial systems and processes.
- Analyse complex financial and operational information to support decision-making.
- Coordinate projects and business improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships across a diverse stakeholder group.
What You'll Need to Succeed / Experience
- Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Health Management or a related discipline, or substantial experience in a large and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in business partnering, management accounting, budgeting and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience providing financial advice and insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Proven project coordination and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Previous experience within Government, Health or similarly complex environments will be highly regarded.
What You'll Get in ReturnThe role is being offered on an initial temporary contract for an immediate start. You will also be offered:
- 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
