Although you may be new to mining, we’re looking for candidates with at least 1-2 years experience in labour intensive roles. This is a very physically demanding position!
As a Drillers Offsider you will be supporting the driller with general operations duties:
- Rod handling
- Rig maintenance
- Bagging samples
- Cleaning equipment
- Providing support to drilling operations
- Mobilisation and demobilisation of drill rigs from sites
To be successful in the role;
- Reside in Perth WA, as this role is FIFO from Perth Airport.
- Must be available for Immediate START!
- Previous experience in a physically demanding position, and being able to lift up to 40kgs.
- HR-B Drivers License for surface roles
- Willing to work on a 2:1 or 4:2 roster on various projects across WA
- Current National Police Clearance – Within 6 months
- First Aid Certificate
- White Card – Desired
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive re-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Not entry level to labouring and physically demanding environment
