This well-known mining company in Far North Queensland is seeking experienced Qualified Chefs to join their team on a casual FIFO roster across multiple sites.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head Chef and Site Services Manager, your duties will include:
- Delivering fast, high-quality service in an open kitchen environment
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
- Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising food wastage
- Preparing large-scale, bulk meals for high-volume service
- Supporting site operations and stepping into the Head Chef role when required
What you'll need to succeed
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)Previous experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchensAbility to work long hours, split shifts, and on short noticeAvailability across weekends and public holidaysWillingness to complete pre-employment medicals, Drug & Alcohol testing, and site inductionsWhat you'll get in return
