Silverline Disability is seeking a caring, reliable and dedicated female Disability Support Workers (Two Positions) to join our team in the North beach (York peninsula) area (SA post code 5556).

Key Duties
• Provide person-centred support to people with disability.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation and community access.
• Assist participants with appointments, shopping and social activities.
• Support participants to achieve their goals and maintain independence.
• Follow individual support plans, safety procedures and workplace policies.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and report any changes in participants' wellbeing.
• Maintain privacy, confidentiality, dignity and professional boundaries.
• Work collaboratively with families, carers and other support professionals.
• Promote participant choice, inclusion, independence and overall wellbeing.
• Applicant must be willing to relocate to York peninsula region.
• Must have good spoken and written English communication skills
• Availability for flexible shifts including days, evenings, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
• Supporting participants in Supported Independent Living (SIL) houses

Skills & Qualifications
• Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or a related field, or relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• A genuine passion for supporting people with disability.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful and reliable approach.
• Ability to work independently and follow support plans and procedures.
• Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, where applicable.
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle, where required.
