Our client, a well-established food manufacturing business in Thomastown, is looking for a reliable, hands-on Factory Cleaner to join their production team. About the Role
You'll play a key part in keeping the factory floor, production areas, and equipment spotless and compliant with food safety standards — supporting the production team to keep operations running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
- Washing, scrubbing and sanitizing floors, drains, walls and equipment in production areas
- Cleaning buckets, utensils, bins and Eurobins used throughout the factory
- Removing rubbish and keeping external and internal areas tidy
- Restocking changeroom, sanitizer and hygiene stations
- Operating a forklift to move pallets and equipment as required
- Other cleaning duties as directed by Production Management/Coordinators
What We're Looking For
- Current forklift licence – essential
- Previous cleaning, production, or food manufacturing experience highly regarded
- Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles
- Comfortable working with detergents, chemicals and cleaning equipment
- Physically fit – able to manage manual handling, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Driver's Licence and Own Reliable Transport
