The Enrolled Nurse Transition to Practice Program is designed for newly registered Enrolled Nurses and supports the consolidation of clinical knowledge, skills,and professional competence. The program facilitates transition into practice, enabling participants to develop as safe, confident, and accountable clinicians.

Enrolled Nurse Graduates will complete two rotations ofsix months in two of the following clinical areas:Specialist Clinics, Emergency Department, the InpatientWard, and Surgical Admissions & Recovery.

The Program is planned to commence in February 2027

Essential Criteria

  • Satisfactory completion of the Diploma of Nursing(HLT54121) (or equivalent nationally recognisedqualification).
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) through AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Eligibility for, or attainment of, registration prior to commencement of the program.
