Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, development, testing, and improvement of engineering systems and processes
- Analyse technical requirements, system performance, and operational issues
- Prepare and maintain technical drawings, reports, specifications, and engineering documentation
- Identify technical problems and recommend practical engineering solutions
- Support engineering projects, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement activities
- Liaise with engineers, technical staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Monitor system performance and recommend modifications or upgrades where required
- Assist with the selection and evaluation of equipment, components, and technical solutions
- Ensure engineering activities meet relevant quality, safety, and technical standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Relevant experience in an engineering, technical, or Engineering Technologist role
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, testing, technical analysis, and problem-solving
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation
- Experience with technical reporting, system evaluation, and engineering project support
- Good understanding of quality, safety, and engineering standards
- Strong analytical, communication, organisational, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a technical team
- Ability to effectively manage multiple technical priorities
