Our client is a leading electrical contractor specialising in high-voltage (HV) connections and renewable energy projects across Australia. With a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure works, they are experiencing continued growth driven by a robust pipeline of large-scale projects within the energy transition space.
Your new role
Due to this growth, an opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Estimator to join their high-performing team in Sydney.In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for HV and renewable energy projects
- Experience working in an EPC environment for large high voltage energy projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Managing the full tendering process from initial pricing through to submission
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and clients
- Supporting or leading bid strategies on major infrastructure projects (depending on experience)
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience as an Estimator within HV, utilities, or renewable energy projects
- Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure and construction methodologies
- Experience pricing large-scale or complex projects
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
