The Animal Referral Hospital (ARH) Wollongong is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Director to join our dynamic team for a 6-month maternity leave contract. Your Role: More Than Just a Vet
This isn’t just a clinical position — it’s a leadership opportunity. As Veterinary Director, you'll:
- Lead a high-performing, collaborative emergency team
- Mentor and support vets and nurses in a positive, learning-driven culture
- Work alongside the Practice Manager on operational decisions
- Work with the Area Manager and Regional Clinical Director to achieve and maintain a high clinical standard ??
- Contribute to the ongoing success and strategic direction of ARH Wollongong
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in emergency medicine (ECC experience essential)
- ECC Memberships highly regarded but not essential
- A passion for team leadership and mentorship
- Strong communication, organisation, and decision-making skills
- A compassionate, patient-first approach
