An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Dynamics BC Developer to join a growing organisation undergoing a significant Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central transformation.
This role will be instrumental in supporting and optimising a newly implemented Business Central environment, delivering enhancements across finance, supply chain, warehousing, retail operations, reporting and system integrations.
Working within a collaborative technology team, you'll partner with stakeholders across the business to design, develop and implement solutions that improve efficiency, streamline processes and maximise the value of the Microsoft technology platform.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on technical position suited to an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central professional who enjoys both development and business engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central extensions using AL and Visual Studio Code.
• Configuring and supporting core BC modules including inventory, warehouse management, purchasing, sales and finance.
• Building and maintaining integrations with Microsoft and third-party platforms.
• Developing APIs, web services and automated business processes.
• Supporting Power Platform initiatives including Power Automate and Power BI solutions.
• Participating in agile delivery cycles, testing, deployment and continuous improvementactivities.
• Providing Level 2/3 support and technical expertise for Business Central users.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
• 5+ years' experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
• Strong AL development skills and experience with Visual Studio Code.
• A solid understanding of finance, inventory, purchasing, warehousing and sales processeswithin BC.
• Experience creating and maintaining RDLC and Word-based reports and document layouts.
• Knowledge of Business Central integrations, APIs, OData and web services.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
• Power Automate experience.
• Power BI reporting capability.
• Azure DevOps and Git experience.
• Power Apps exposure.
• Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications.
• Experience within retail, logistics, healthcare, aged care or distribution environments.
