Disability Support Worker
- Provide practical and personal support to elderly and disabled clients.
- Assist clients with daily activities, mobility, and personal care tasks.

JCICARE SUPPORT SERVICES PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will provide practical, personal and social support to elderly people and people living with disability while promoting their independence, dignity and wellbeing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Supporting elderly people and people with disability with their everyday activities and routines.
- Assisting clients with safe movement, transfers and mobility as required.
- Preparing and serving meals according to clients’ individual needs and preferences.
- Organising and supporting participation in social, recreational and community activities.
- Carrying out general household duties, including cleaning, vacuuming and maintaining a tidy living environment.
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing and hygiene.
- Providing companionship, emotional reassurance and social support.
- Assisting with shopping, appointments and other errands when required.
- Providing live-in support where this forms part of the client’s care arrangements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant qualification in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, Community Services or a related field.
- Relevant 1-year full-time experience in disability support, aged care or a similar care role.
- Current First Aid and CPR.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- National Police Check.
- Working with Children Check preferred
- Valid Australian driver’s licence.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide respectful and person-centred support.
