Disability Support worker - Cerebral palsy
- Provide support to individuals with cerebral palsy and high physical support needs.
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities as required.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS and safety regulations.
Our client currently seeking to fill vacancies for aDisability Support Worker (NDIS)-Cerebral palsy in Thornleigh ( Sydney )withimmediate start.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 2+ years' experience of working as a disability support worker -cerebral palsy.
Experience of working with cerebral palsy adults with high physical support needs, ABIs, high intensity support needs, behaviours of concern, including restrictive practices and food preparation.
Hoist and Wheelchair operation is essential.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check,
Working with Children Check,
National Police Check,
Vaccinations (including COVID), CPR & First Aid,
right to work in Australia,
100 Points of ID,
Full driving licence, access to a reliable car & comprehensive car insurance is essential.
Cert III Individual Supports, Cert IV Disability and / or Mental Health Care Qualification, equivalent or higher are preferred.
Current medication administration certification and manual handling certification is required.
Ability to communicate, problem solve and use life experience along with integrity, honesty & reliability are critical attributes for this role, as is a good sense of humour.
We are only seeking applicants who have relevant are reliable and committed to delivering quality care and have thequalificationsandat least 2+ years of disability support worker experience -cerebral palsy.
NOTE:All support worker roles may include some level of personal care and assistance as a standard part of the disability support worker's role.
Job hrs : 8 AM to 10 AM. 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. 6 PM to 10 PM.
Per day hrs : 6 to 8 hrs
