We’re looking for kind-hearted, reliable, and values-driven Full-time Disability Carers to join our team. Multiple positions are available. In this role, you’ll be supporting one of our wonderful NDIS participants with personal care, daily living, and community access—helping them live with dignity, choice, and confidence.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in assisting clients with their daily living needs while promoting independence and respect. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Providing personal care (showering, grooming, hygiene)
- Providing assistance with daily living activities.
- Assisting with mobility and manual handling, including 2:1 hoisting for toileting (bed to wheelchair)
- Changing incontinence pads and supporting continence care
- Monitoring skin integrity, hygiene, and overall wellbeing to help prevent infections and pressure injuries
- Preparing meals and assisting with light household duties
- Supporting community access and providing companionship
- Encouraging independence and empowering client choice
Shifts:
This role offers 24/7 availability, with a variety of shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight, Monday to Sunday.
Requirements
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability / Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Manual handling experience (or willingness to complete training)
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
