SITE MANAGER
- Lead Stage 1 of a $17m school project in Melbourne's west.
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate trades on site.
- Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
If you're a Site Manager who enjoys having plenty happening on site, this one should give you enough to get stuck into.
You'll be leading Stage 1 of a new $17m school project in Melbourne's west, with two buildings being delivered concurrently alongside the civil and landscaping packages. It's a substantial job with plenty happening at once.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site, managing subcontractors, coordinating trades, driving the schedule and making sure quality and safety standards are maintained.
The company itself is in an interesting position. They're now 60 strong and making the move towards Tier 2, delivering commercial projects up to $20m, with a mix of community, education and health across Melbourne. They're securing larger and better-quality projects and have the systems and structure of a polished, corporate construction business.
The directors are approachable, experienced and still hands-on with the business and its projects.
And doing a good job gets recognised. One of their current Site Managers has been performing well, recently picked up an industry award and has now been given the opportunity to move onto a larger project. That gives you a pretty good indication of what can happen when you deliver here.
To be considered, you'll need experience as a Site Manager running similar commercial construction projects, ideally including education projects or builds of comparable size and complexity. You'll need to be comfortable multitasking, have good communication skills and a strong work history.
The package is up to $210k + super, depending on experience.
