Position Overview
The Mould Shop Operator will report to the Mould Shop Supervisor and will play a key role in supporting mold preparation, assembly, and production activities. This position is essential in ensuring that products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to ANCA's quality standards while meeting production targets. Operators may also be required to assist in other production departments based on training and direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet allocated production plans and follow manufacturing schedules and work instructions.
- Monitor materials and tooling, escalating any issues as they arise.
- Support other production departments as required to maintain workflow.
- Maintain quality standards by reporting concerns promptly and raising NCRs for non-conforming products.
- Minimize rework and waste through effective quality control practices.
- Adhere to safe work practices and participate in housekeeping, 5S, and TPM tasks.
- Engage in risk assessments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members across shifts and departments.
- Be flexible and willing to work in different areas of production when trained.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is preferred, along with a keen attention to detail.
