Floor Finishers

Roxset Australia is seeking experienced Floor Finishers to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidates will be responsible for epoxy flooring, floor covering installation, surface preparation, finishing, repairs, and quality inspections across various projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare, mix and apply epoxy coatings, sealers, primers, base coats and topcoats.
2. Prepare floor surfaces through grinding, sanding, blasting and patching.
3. Measure, cut and install vinyl, carpet, rubber and laminate floor coverings.
4. Repair damaged or worn floor coverings and finished surfaces.
5. Operate and maintain flooring tools and equipment.
6. Inspect completed work to ensure quality, durability and appearance.
7. Follow all WHS requirements and safely handle flooring materials and chemicals.
8. Maintain a clean and organised worksite.
9. Complete required job documentation, timesheets and material records.
10. Work with project managers, supervisors and other trades to meet project requirements.

Requirements

1. Minimum 3 years’ relevant work experience as a Floor Finisher.
2. Experience in epoxy flooring and floor covering installation.
3. Ability to work safely and effectively with flooring tools, equipment and materials.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
