Biomedical Engineer
- Design and develop biomedical equipment and medical devices.

Located in Artarmon, NSW 2064, S C MEDICAL PTY LIMITED is currently seeking a Biomedical Engineer to become part of its growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Designing, developing, testing, and evaluating biomedical equipment and medical devices to meet clinical and operational requirements.
• Installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing biomedical equipment to ensure safe and reliable performance.
• Conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and performance testing of medical devices.
• Investigating equipment faults, identifying technical issues, and implementing effective solutions.
• Ensuring all biomedical equipment complies with relevant Australian standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance requirements.
• Preparing technical reports, maintenance records, and equipment documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Liaising with healthcare professionals, suppliers, and manufacturers to provide technical support and equipment recommendations.
• Assisting with the evaluation, commissioning, and implementation of new medical technologies and equipment.
About you:
• At least one year of relevant experience as a Biomedical Engineer or in a similar role.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong technical knowledge of biomedical equipment, medical devices, and diagnostic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, specifications, and engineering standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and technical teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate technical records.
Job Type: Permanent/Full-time
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum.
