LGM Industries is a leading construction and maintenance contractor specialising in structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) services for the Western Australian resources and energy sectors.
Due to continued growth, we’re currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team based in Perth. This role involves overseeing site-based teams across various sites with the flexibility to work away on roster cycles or short assignments is essential.
About the Role
As a Site Supervisor, you’ll lead and support a team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards. You’ll be a key player in building positive client relationships, promoting a strong safety culture, and helping to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and mentor on-site crews
- Plan and coordinate daily site activities
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
- Conduct hazard inspections and safety checks
- Manage permits and documentation
- Run daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings and debriefs
- Monitor and report crew timesheets
- Build strong relationships with clients and team members
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity
What You’ll Need
- Trade qualification in Fabrication (Boilermaker)
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar supervisory role
- Strong technical knowledge of SMP projects
- Experience leading teams of 10+ personnel
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong focus on safety and quality
- Computer literacy (essential)
- Full Australian work rights
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
Required Tickets & Licences
- Trade qualification (Fabrication trade)
- Confined Space & Working at Heights (within two years)
- High Risk Work Licences – LF, WP, RB (preferred)
- White Card
- Current driver’s licence
- Statutory Supervisor Training (Schedule 26)
