Logistics Manager – Full Time
Sabbi Industries Pty Ltd has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Logistics Manager to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning, managing and coordinating the supply, receipt, storage and distribution of inventory across the business.
- Managing day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations and ensuring efficient movement of stock from receipt through to customer dispatch.
- Managing inventory control, stock movements, storage and replenishment.
- Coordinating inbound and outbound freight, including suppliers, freight carriers, couriers and logistics providers.
- Planning warehouse resources and workflows to meet order volumes, product launches and peak trading periods.
- Managing and supervising warehouse staff, including allocation of work, training and performance.
- Monitoring warehouse and distribution performance, costs and operational KPIs.
- Developing and improving procedures to increase productivity, inventory accuracy and distribution efficiency.
- Ensuring warehouse and distribution operations comply with WHS requirements and company procedures.
- Working closely with management and other departments to ensure supply and distribution requirements support the needs and continued growth of the business.
Applicants for this position should:
- Have relevant formal qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, business, operations or a related field.
- Have at least 1 year of relevant full-time experience, in addition to formal qualifications.
- In some circumstances, 3–5 years of relevant full-time experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
- Have demonstrated experience in warehouse, supply, logistics and distribution operations.
- Have experience supervising staff and coordinating warehouse resources.
- Have strong organisational, planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume e-commerce environment and undertaking hands-on warehouse activities when operationally required.
Location & Hours of Work
This is a full-time position based in Currumbin, QLD, working Monday to Friday.
Remuneration
Full-time permanent position – 38 hours per week.
Base salary: $90,000per annum + superannuation
