TSPV Cleared Opportunity for Permanent Part Time

Your new company
Join an established organisation delivering specialist technical services within Australias Defence sector. You will support a critical secure simulation capability used across complex training, testing and development environments.Due to the sensitive nature of the work, further information regarding the client and program will be provided to suitably cleared applicants during the recruitment process.

Your new role
This permanent part-time position will see you provide specialist technical support across the security accreditation, operation and ongoing sustainment of a secure simulation system. Working 16 hours per week and under limited direction, you will help maintain system availability, reliability, security and compliance within a highly regulated environment.Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting security accreditation and authorisation activities, including the preparation and maintenance of Authority to Operate documentation
• Working within relevant Defence security frameworks, policies and system operating requirements
• Providing technical support across simulation systems, software and secure network environments
• Using software development and scripting skills, including LUA, to create analytical tools and support rapid modelling outcomes
• Establishing and maintaining system configurations, baselines, security controls, technical procedures and supporting documentation
• Managing user accounts, system records and technical databases
• Supporting system changes, upgrades, patches, service packs and security configurations
• Monitoring system performance, capacity and reliability
• Managing technical obsolescence and contributing to ongoing ICT security accreditation
• Engaging with technical, security and operational stakeholders as a key point of contact for system-related enquiries

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will require:

• A current Top Secret Positive Vetting security clearance
• Eligibility to operate within the required Defence Industry Security Program personnel requirements
• Demonstrated programming and scripting experience, including LUA
• Experience supporting secure ICT, simulation, software or networked systems
• Knowledge of security accreditation processes and relevant Australian Government security frameworks
• Experience establishing and maintaining system configurations, technical documentation and security controls
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• The ability to work independently and prioritise complex technical requirements
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Previous experience within Defence, government or another secure and regulated environment will be highly regarded
