With a strong focus on customer service, compliance and continuous improvement, this organisation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the delivery of facilities and building maintenance services across multiple properties.
Your New RoleAs the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and presentation of residential apartments, common areas and building exteriors, ensuring all properties remain safe, functional and compliant.Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing preventative and reactive maintenance programmes across the portfolio.
• Monitoring building defects and coordinating maintenance works to resolution.
• Liaising with contractors, suppliers and property owners regarding repairs, approvals and quotations.
• Ensuring maintenance activities comply with relevant tenancy legislation and access requirements.
• Coordinating general maintenance works and overseeing contractor performance.
• Maintaining common areas, gardens, external grounds, storerooms, stairwells and waste management areas.
• Managing maintenance inventories, stock takes and purchasing requirements.
• Assisting with maintenance budgeting, forecasting and reporting on project progress.
• Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

What You'll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in facilities management, property maintenance, building maintenance or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance programmes, building services and contractor management.
• A sound understanding of workplace health and safety legislation and maintenance compliance requirements.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets, inventory control and operational priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, contractors, property owners and internal teams.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or the ability to obtain one.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• The ability to provide a National Police Check.
