Our client is seeking a Trainee Seafood Processor to join their busy seafood production and retail team in Myaree. This hands-on role involves preparing premium fresh seafood to the highest quality standards while supporting daily production and customer service in a commercial food preparation environment.
Whether you're an experienced Fish Filleter or bring transferable skills from a commercial kitchen, busy bar and restaurant, or food manufacturing background, training is available for the right person.

Key Responsibilities
- Fillet, portion and prepare a variety of fresh seafood to a consistently high standard
- Complete seafood processing and food preparation tasks efficiently to meet daily production requirements
- Maintain exceptional food safety, hygiene and quality standards
- Safely operate knives and follow established workplace procedures
- Assist with packing, product presentation and general production duties
- Contribute to a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Front of House customer service during peak service times
- Support and maintain high quality product presentation and hygiene standards
About You
- Previous experience as a Fish Filleter, Seafood Processor, Meat Processsor or within a commercial kitchen, food production or food manufacturing environment
- Strong knife skills and confidence handling fresh food products
- Excellent attention to detail with pride in producing quality work
- Reliable, punctual and available to work weekends as part of a rotating roster
- Able to work efficiently in a fast production environment
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a close-knit team
