About the Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Senior Finance Manager - Corporate Accounting is a critical leadership role responsible for financial accounting, statutory reporting and governance across Vinarchy's corporate entities. You'll lead a high-performing team while ensuring compliance with IFRS, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting a clean audit environment.

You'll play a pivotal role in simplifying processes, driving automation, and leveraging emerging technologies such as AI and Power Automate to create a best-in-class finance function.
This is an 11 month parental leave fixed term contract role
Key Accountabilities Include:
- Lead month-end close activities, statutory reporting and financial accounting processes
- Oversee key balance sheet areas including intercompany, fixed assets and capital accounting
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Group accounting policies and governance frameworks
- Lead quarterly balance sheet reviews and support external audit activities
- Partner with Finance, IT, HR and Legal teams on accounting and reporting matters
- Drive process simplification, automation and finance transformation initiatives
- Coach, develop and lead a high-performing corporate accounting team
- Support Board, investor and executive reporting requirements
What You'll Bring:
You are a CA, CPA or equivalent qualified finance professional with significant experience in corporate accounting, audit or advisory environments. You bring strong technical accounting expertise and a deep understanding of IFRS, with the ability to apply accounting standards practically within a complex, multi-entity organisation. You have a proven track record leading high-performing teams and partnering effectively with senior stakeholders across Finance, IT, HR, Legal and executive leadership teams.
You combine strong financial systems and advanced Excel capability with a mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation. Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment, you are passionate about leveraging automation, AI and technology to enhance reporting, controls and efficiency. Most importantly, you are a proactive and influential leader who thrives on driving positive change while maintaining a strong focus on governance, accuracy and business outcomes.
Experience within FMCG, manufacturing or consumer goods will be advantageous, although not essential.
Essential Qualifications
- Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA) or CPA Australia.
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience within a corporate accounting, audit, or advisory environment.
- Experience managing and leading accounting teams in a complex organisational environment.
