About the Role:

Looking for a hands-on role where your skills truly matter? We’re on the lookout for a proactive and reliable Maintenance Officer to join our team on a Full-Time basis (Monday to Friday) at our residential aged care facility in Cootamundra.

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out general maintenance and repairs (basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and building work)
• Keeping our outdoor spaces looking their best with gardening and grounds maintenance — mowing, hedging, sweeping, hosing and general upkeep
• Completing planned preventative maintenance in line with site schedules
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests across your designated areas
• Monitoring maintenance works to ensure regulatory compliance
• Actively contributing to Work Health & Safety practices

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current driver's licence
• Trade qualification (desirable)
• Computer skills
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Previous experience in either building, fitter and turner, welder or plumber (desirable)
