Are you a commercially minded FMCG sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business and driving growth across the independent retail channel?
We're partnering with an established business to identify a Territory Manager to manage and grow an established customer base across Brisbane. This is an opportunity for a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys a mix of account management, new business development and in-store execution, with the autonomy to take ownership of their territory and make a measurable commercial impact.
About the Role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening retailer relationships and identifying opportunities to expand distribution across the independent grocery channel.
You'll take ownership of your territory, developing customer partnerships, executing sales initiatives and ensuring products are well represented in-store. This is a hands-on, field-based role suited to someone who enjoys being out in the market, building relationships and turning opportunities into results.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage, develop and grow a portfolio of independent retail accounts
- Build strong relationships with store owners, buyers and key decision-makers
- Identify and convert new business opportunities to expand distribution
- Drive promotional activity, product ranging and in-store execution
- Monitor stock availability, merchandising and product visibility
- Implement territory plans to achieve sales targets and maximise growth
- Manage an effective call cycle across Brisbane, with occasional regional travel
What You'll Bring
- FMCG sales experience, ideally within independent grocery or retail
- A proven ability to grow accounts and develop new business
- Exposure to multi-site retail groups and broader retail networks highly regarded
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation and influencing skills
- Commercial acumen and the ability to identify opportunities at store level
- A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work autonomously
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel as required
