AHS CONTROLLERS & PIT BUILDERS
- Seeking experienced AHS Controllers and Pit Builders for a 7/7 DIDO roster.
- Roles involve operating in a fast-paced mining environment with a focus on safety and production targets.
- Candidates must have relevant experience and qualifications, including a valid Western Australian Manual Drivers Licence.
Protech are looking for experienced AHS Controllers and Pit Builders to perform work with our client on a 7/7 DIDO Roster from Perth with a leading Gold Producer.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- 7/7 Roster (DS/NS)
- Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate
- Pit Builders – Pay Rate: $53.11 – $61.52 Per hour (Depending on experience)
- AHS Controllers – Pay Rate: $66.39 – $70.97 (Depending on experience, with potential for higher rate)
- Paid for 12.5 hour days, including paid break
- Super on all hours
- South West region of Western Australia (approx. 1.5 – 2 hours from Perth)
- Work close to home with a Global Miner
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Pit Builders:
- Previous exp in a Pit Builder or Pit Patroller Role (preferred)
- Minestar Command for Hauling experience
- Min 2 years exp on DTO – Open pit 793 (essential)
- Experience operating Light Vehicles in an Autonomous Environment (essential)
- Experience with surveying, creating, and maintaining plans.
- Autonomous experience/Modules preferred
- Familiar with Hierarchy rules in the Pit
AHS Controllers:
- Experience with CAT MineStar AHS (Controlling or Building)
- Meet mine plans & targets in regard to production & safety.
- Liaise with Pit Builders, Coordinators & Supervisors to collaborate on trouble shooting, further planning, system optimisation & solutions.
- Gather information & diagnostics about stopped trucks & operational issues including locations, sensor readings, error messages, and any relevant details provided by the AHS system.
- Determine the impact of the issue on operations, such as production delays or safety concerns.
- Prioritise safety in all fleet operations to prevent accidents, injuries, and equipment damage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure, dynamic environment.
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Valid Western Australian Manual Drivers Licence.
- Australian Work Rights.
- Minimum 1-2 years + experience in the relevant role
- Experience with Command Mine Star Fleet Management System (essential)
- Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
- Valid & contactable references.
- Strong understanding and adherence to OHS.
