Job Description

  • Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements across cyber security and IT operations initiatives
  • Support asset management and CMDB uplift, ensuring accurate tracking of hardware, software, ownership, and lifecycle status
  • Analyse and improve end‑of‑life / end‑of‑support processes, including patching, replacement, and remediation planning
  • Work with cyber and infrastructure teams to support vulnerability management and patching programs
  • Map current‑state and future‑state processes, identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Maintain high‑quality documentation including epics, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria using Jira and Confluence
  • Engage stakeholders across cyber security, networks, infrastructure, and service management to ensure alignment and delivery
  • Support delivery governance, testing, and change activities as required

The Successful Applicant

A successful Cyber Business Analyst should have:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within cyber security or IT risk environments
  • Strong hands‑on experience with asset management, CMDB, lifecycle management, patching, and technology refresh programs
  • Solid understanding of cyber security concepts, controls, and operational processes
  • Experience working in telecommunications environments (highly regarded)
  • Strong experience using Jira and Confluence in agile or hybrid delivery environments
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex, fast‑paced environments
