We help people with disability become more independent, in their own homes and the community.
- Active support: develop personal interests, provide personal care, transportation and coach independent living skills
- Health support: administer and document medication and follow health support plans
- Positive behaviour support: manage behaviour triggers and escalation
- Safeguarding: ensure safety of you and the participant, documentation and reports
About you
- Demonstrated motivation to work with people with disability
- Experience working as a support professional in a challenging environment
- Knowledge and understanding of behaviour support plans
- Manage and escalate challenging behaviours
- Flexible with sleepover shifts
- C3 in Disability, Individual Support or equivalent is preferred
- Available to fulfill a rotating roster including weekends and overnights
- NDIS Worker Check
- National Police Check
- Full unrestricted Victorian Driver’s license
- First aid and CPR certificate
