Your newcompanyThis is an opportunity to join a well-known gold producer with a long-standing presence in WA. You'll be stepping into a hands-on underground role where geology is valued, decisions are made on site, and you'll work closely with mining operations to maximise ore recovery and support production targets. With an established operation and experienced technical team, this is a great chance to gain exposure to a busy underground environment on a 6-month opportunity.
Your new role
- Underground grade control and geological mapping
- Ore mark-ups and production support
- Sampling and geological data collection
- Core logging
- Drill hole planning and interpretation
- Reconciliation and reporting activities
- Working closely with mining and technical services teams
- 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth or Residential
- 6-month opportunity
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience as an Underground Mine Geologist within a gold operation
- Strong understanding of grade control practices
- Exposure to geological software such as Surpac or Leapfrog
- Ability to work effectively underground and within a team environment
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Degree in Geology or Equivalent
