Key Responsibilities
- Assist civil engineers and project managers with the planning, design and delivery of civil construction projects.
- Prepare and modify engineering drawings, plans and technical documentation using CAD software.
- Conduct site inspections and collect measurements, levels and other relevant technical information.
- Assist with surveying, site set-out and monitoring of construction works.
- Prepare quantities, material specifications and project documentation.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure works are undertaken in accordance with approved plans, specifications and relevant standards.
- Assist with preparing progress reports, site records and project documentation.
Skills and Experience
- Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in civil construction or engineering projects is desirable of 1-2 years.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical plans.
- Knowledge of civil construction methods, materials and procedures.
- Experience with CAD and other engineering software.
