FIFO Perth | Ongoing 2:1 Roster | $65–$70/hr | Minimum 12 Months Work

Core Talent is currently seeking experienced Carpenters for a long-term FIFO construction project in WA.

This is an excellent opportunity for carpenters looking for consistent, ongoing work, offering a standard 2:1 roster, a minimum 12-month project and rates of $65–$70 per hour depending on experience.

This isn't your standard camp maintenance role — we're looking for experienced tradespeople with a strong background working with modular, transportable or relocatable buildings.

The Role The project will involve the dismantling, relocation and complete re-erection of transportable buildings, with works including:

• Dismantling and stripping out transportable buildings
• Disconnecting, tagging and preparing building components for transport
• Setting out and accurately positioning buildings from construction drawings
• Levelling, packing and shimming piers
• Re-fixing cyclonic tie-down systems
• Wall and roof sheeting
• Re-hanging doors and windows
• Sealing, flashing and general weatherproofing
• Internal fit-out works including flooring, linings and cabinetry

What We're Looking For To be successful, you will need:

• Cert III in Carpentry or recognised equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' experience with modular, transportable or relocatable buildings
• Previous experience completing a full dismantle and re-erection cycle
• Experience with both steel and timber-framed transportable buildings
• Strong experience with cladding, roof sheeting and cyclonic tie-downs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project crew
• Previous mining/FIFO experience highly regarded

• EWP ticket/licence
• Current WA Driver's Licence
• Dogging or Basic Rigging – highly regarded
• Full carpentry trade tool kit
