Welding Inspector / QA/QC / Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Oil and Gas Welding Inspector / QA/QC  to support a major project during a critical preparation phase for upcoming shutdown activities. This FIFO based role will be embedded within the project delivery team and will play a key role in ensuring Hot Work quality readiness, documentation assurance and inspection planning ahead of site execution. This is a short term project with the opportunity to extend to ongoing future works.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality assurance leadership across Hot Work scopes
• Develop, review and assure Job Packs, ITPs, WPS documentation and weld traceability
• Support inspection planning, scheduling and quality reporting
• Monitor compliance against project standards and execution requirements
• Identify and manage quality risks impacting delivery outcomes
• Provide technical guidance to project and execution stakeholders

About You

• Proven experience in Welding Inspection / QAQC roles within Oil & Gas or major energy projects
• Strong background supporting shutdown or commissioning preparation phases
• CSWIP/Equivalent certification is essential
• Certificate 10 Welding Supervisor highly regarded
• Strong understanding of industry codes, standards and quality systems
• Advanced capability in reporting and data analysis tools (Excel / Power BI)
• Professional communication skills with the ability to engage across project teams
