- Manage underground mining operations and infrastructure projects.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and contractors in a mining environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and mining legislation.
Our client is a leading engineering and project delivery organisation delivering major mining and infrastructure projects across Australia and internationally, with a strong reputation for technical excellence and project execution.
About the role:
- 2:1 Roster, 12hrs day, paid weekly
- Mining Infrastructure Underground Superintendent
- Superintedant - $120K - $140K
Mining Infrastructure Underground Supervisor
Supervisors - $110K - $120K
About you:
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering, or a relevant mining diploma, or a proven track record as an experienced underground hard-rock miner.
- Appropriate statutory underground mine management qualification/competency for the relevant jurisdiction (not mandatory)
- Valid WA Underground Supervisor's Certificate / Statutory Section 26 (S26) Certificate (not mandatory)
- Significant experience in underground mining operations, infrastructure or mine development.
- Demonstrated experience managing underground contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven experience in mine planning, scheduling and operational readiness.
- Experience working with commercial, technical and corporate stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of relevant mining legislation, safety standards and industry practices.
- Current site-based mining experience with demonstrated leadership capability.
