Your new role
As the Workplace Health & Safety Advisor, you will partner with stakeholders to promote best practice safety standards and ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing practical WHS advice and guidance to business units and leaders
- Supporting the implementation and improvement of workplace health and safety initiatives
- Monitoring and analysing safety performance data, trends, and reporting outcomes
- Conducting workplace inspections, audits, and incident investigations
- Applying risk management principles to identify and mitigate workplace hazards
- Maintaining WHS management systems and supporting continuous improvement activities
- Assisting with the development and review of policies, procedures, and safety documentation
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Workplace Health & Safety, Safety Advisor, or similar role
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, principles, and best practice frameworks
- Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret safety data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
