Maintenance Fitter
- Provide preventative and breakdown maintenance for beverage plant equipment.
- Fabricate and repair parts, and report all works using CMMS.
- Train apprentices and attend required training sessions.

My client is a world-leading beverage manufacturer and requires a maintenance fitter for a temporary role with the possibility of a permanent position.
Your new role
Your role, within the maintenance team, your role will be a key role providing support and customer service across both the production and maintenance departments.

What you'll need to succeed
Certificate III or IV in engineering mechanical fitting and/or turningBeverage or FMCG process knowledge and experienceA solid understanding of processing and packaging in FMCG, including local and industry trends.High level process improvement skills (root cause analysis, FMECA, process improvements & corrective actions)Restricted electrical licence desirableFabrication experienceLathe and mill experience desirableForklift licence or willingness to obtain oneWorking at heights and confined space trainedBe forward-thinking and able to work autonomouslyTeam player with strong safety focusCritical thinking and planningAn ability to consistently achieve results and deliver on promisesComputer-literateWhat you'll get in return
The role will pay between $48-$52ph + super/penalties and while it will be a temporary role, there is a possibility it will lead into a permanent role.
