Your New Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll play a key part in the delivery of a landmark new development in Sydney.
The project is entering early stages, making it a great time to join. You’ll oversee coordination, procurement, and delivery across structural, façade, and services packages while mentoring junior engineers and supporting overall program and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage design coordination, procurement, and on-site delivery of major building elements.
- Support short- and long-term programming, project reporting, and progress tracking.
- Coordinate subcontractors and consultants across multiple work fronts.
- Lead QA inspections, monitor ITPs, and ensure works meet design and safety standards.
- Oversee variations, cost tracking, and documentation through Aconex and related systems.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to achieve program and budget milestones.
- Mentor site engineers and project coordinators, contributing to a strong delivery culture.
About You:
- Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience within a head contractor environment (Tier 1–3).
- Background in delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use projects, ideally $100M+.
- Strong technical knowledge of structures, façades, and services integration.
- Confident in procurement, cost management, and planning using MS Project or Asta.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Motivated professional seeking long-term progression toward a Project Manager role.
