About Our Client
A global organisation within the FMCG industry. This is an initial 12 month contract with an absolute view to permanency.
Job Description
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations from import to last mile delivery through to reverse logistics.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise 3PL performance.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to drive improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations.
- Oversee budgeting and cost control for logistics activities.
- Lead and mentor the logistics team to achieve organisational goals.
- Resolve logistics-related challenges and implement corrective actions
The Successful Applicant
A successful Logistics Manager should have:
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management within the FMCG industry.
- Experience working with the major retailers in Australia (Woolworths & Coles)
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, systems and regulations.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management.
- Attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
