About the Role

Sands Fridge Lines is seeking a motivated and capable HR Advisor to join our HR team in Forrestfield. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will partner with leaders and employees across the business, providing hands-on HR and Industrial Relations support in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and guidance to leaders on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
  • Support employees with general HR enquiries
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including absenteeism, performance management, disciplinary issues, and grievance resolution
  • Support managers with performance reviews and appraisal processes
  • Coordinate HR programs such as training, development, and engagement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation and relevant regulations
  • Update and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Prepare employment contracts, performance and disciplinary documentation
  • Coordinate onboarding, new starter paperwork, and system setup
  • Maintain accurate HR records within HR systems (UKG & Kronos)
  • Provide support to the Recruitment team as needed

About You

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in a generalist HR role
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience using HR systems (UKG highly regarded)
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong written communication skills for policy and documentation preparation
  • Confident interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong team player
